Shopping with Openwater Habitat Scuba

This online shop is operated by Openwater Habitat LLC under the name Openwater Habitat Scuba. These terms cover use of our online shop and purchases from us. Read the product description, selected configuration, price and applicable policies before ordering. Please contact us if you need help choosing equipment or understanding what a purchase includes.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable taxes and any delivery authorization allowance are displayed at checkout. Eligible card payments are authorized rather than immediately collected. For equipment, we confirm availability and final costs, update delivery and applicable tax, and capture the final agreed total before committing the order to a supplier. An authorization can temporarily reduce your available credit or bank balance. Any increase above the authorized total requires your approval and additional payment before proceeding; we do not automatically collect an increased amount. The Shipping policy explains the allowance, final delivery and handling charges, and unused authorization.

Your order confirmation acknowledges the purchase. It does not confirm that equipment is in stock or has been dispatched. We check equipment availability with the shop or supplier after ordering and contact you with the next steps.

Equipment availability and delivery

Some equipment is ordered from manufacturers rather than stocked at the shop. Select the configuration you want; related photographs or descriptions do not mean that every option is available. We will not substitute a different product or configuration without your agreement.

Shop collection, quote-first equipment and delivery authorization allowances are explained in our Shipping policy. Please wait for a ready-for-pickup notification before traveling to collect an order. For shipped orders, we confirm final delivery and handling costs before capture. Unused authorization is released by your bank; timing varies. If an amount has already been captured and a refund is due, it is returned to the original payment method unless you choose store credit where permitted.

If shipment will be delayed, we will explain the revised timing and your option to cancel for a full refund of the unshipped items and applicable charges. We will obtain your agreement where required and will not keep an order waiting indefinitely without it.

Cancellations and equipment returns

Before we commit an equipment order to a supplier, we cancel without a cancellation fee and cancel the uncaptured authorization or refund payment already collected. Once committed, cancellation may not be possible; we promptly check with the supplier and confirm the outcome. A request alone does not confirm cancellation or limit a legal cancellation right. Any lawful cancellation charge must be supported by the terms agreed for your order; the 25% ordinary-return restocking fee is not automatically a cancellation fee for unshipped equipment. Amounts owed are refunded to the original payment method, with applicable adjustments, unless you choose store credit where permitted. Required refunds are not replaced with compulsory credit.

Our Refund policy explains the seven-calendar-day request window for ordinary equipment returns and seven calendar days to ship after written approval, unopened manufacturer retail packaging and other conditions, individual exceptions, the 25% restocking fee, and fair-use terms for future voluntary returns. The ordinary fee and conditions do not limit the defect, warranty, shop-error, damaged-item and legal-rights exceptions described in that policy.

Please contact us before sending a return. Manufacturer warranty coverage depends on the product and applicable warranty terms. Our policies do not limit rights you have under applicable law.

Training and other shop services

A training purchase covers the learning option and any practical component shown in the selected listing. It does not by itself reserve a particular class or dive date or guarantee certification. Prerequisites, scheduling and learning-material delivery must be arranged with the shop. Ask us before purchasing if you need training by a particular date.

Openwater Habitat Scuba arranges delivery of the learning access or materials included in your purchase. eLearning access is provided by email. In-shop learning materials are arranged with the shop for collection; if shipment is needed, we agree on the arrangements and any shipping charge with you separately. Learning access and practical scheduling are handled separately.

Training purchases, including eLearning and practical training, are nonrefundable for change-of-mind cancellations. This does not exclude a refund if we cannot provide the purchased learning access or training, charge you incorrectly or twice, or a refund is required by applicable law.

Contact the shop promptly if you need to change training arrangements. Practical dates and any date changes are agreed directly with the shop, subject to instructor and session availability. Any additional charge requires your agreement before it is incurred. Buying learning access does not mean that practical training has been completed.

The physical-equipment return policy does not establish cancellation terms for service work or gas fills. Work and charges are agreed with you separately.

Submitting a service or gas-fill request asks the shop to review your requirements. It does not confirm a service appointment, authorize unspecified work or establish a final charge. Work, suitability and pricing are confirmed with you separately.

Order information and corrections

Provide accurate contact and delivery information so we can confirm your order and reach you about availability or shipping. Contact us promptly if something needs correcting. If we discover a pricing or listing error affecting your order, we will explain it and discuss whether you wish to proceed on the corrected terms or receive a refund. We will not collect an increased amount without your agreement.

Website use and privacy

Use the website lawfully and do not interfere with its operation or attempt to access another person's account. Product information supports shopping decisions; it does not replace appropriate dive training, product instructions or the checks needed to use equipment safely.

Our Privacy policy explains how customer information is handled. Manufacturer and other external links are provided for relevant product or training information; their services have their own terms.
